Our commitment: gambling is entertainment
Gambling is a form of entertainment. It is not a way to earn an income, to win back money you have already lost, or to deal with stress, boredom or low mood. We ask every player to treat what they spend with us as the cost of an evening out, because that is what it is.
Before you play, decide how much you can afford to lose and how long you want to spend. Deposit only money that is left over once rent, bills, food and other commitments are paid. Never gamble with borrowed money, with credit, or with funds set aside for somebody else.
Our services are for adults aged 18 or over only. We hold a gaming licence for the services we provide, we check the identity and age of everyone who registers, and we close any account we find to belong to a person under 18.
- Set a budget before you start, and stop when you reach it.
- Set a time limit as well as a money limit.
- Never chase losses: the next round does not owe you anything.
- Do not play when you are tired, upset or drinking.
- Keep gambling as one activity among many, not the main one.
The tools in your account and how to switch them on
Every account with us includes a set of safer gambling controls. You will find them in the responsible gaming area of your account settings, or our team can apply them for you on live chat or by e-mail to support@casinocasperspins.co.uk. A tighter limit takes effect straight away. A request to raise or remove a limit is held for a cooling-off period before it applies, and you can cancel that request at any time while it is pending.
Deposit limits
A deposit limit caps what you can pay in over a day, a week or a month. You choose the amount, and once it is reached you cannot deposit again until the period resets. We invite you to set one when you register, and you can change it later.
Loss and session limits
A loss limit caps the net amount you can lose across a chosen period. A session limit caps how long a single sitting may run; when it expires we end the session and you will need to sign in again before you can play.
Reality checks
A reality check is an on-screen reminder that appears at an interval you set. It tells you how long you have been playing and where your balance stands, and asks whether you want to carry on or stop.
Time-outs
A time-out closes your account to play for a short, fixed period, with the available options shown in your account settings. During a time-out you cannot deposit or stake, you will not receive promotional messages from us, and you can still withdraw any remaining balance. Your account reopens automatically at the end.
Self-exclusion
Self-exclusion is for players who want a longer and firmer break. It closes your account to play for at least the minimum period shown in your account, removes you from our marketing lists, and blocks attempts to open a new account with us in the meantime. It cannot be lifted early, and when it ends your account stays closed until you ask us to reopen it.
Not sure which tool to use
If you only want to slow down, start with a deposit limit and a reality check. If you want to stop for a while, use a time-out. If you want to stop altogether, use self-exclusion.
Signs that gambling may be causing harm
Harm rarely begins with one event; it builds quietly. The points below are the ones support organisations ask about most often. If more than one of them sounds familiar, it is worth pausing.
- You spend more money, or more time, than you planned to.
- You go back to try to win back what you have lost.
- You borrow, sell things or use money meant for bills in order to play.
- You hide how much you gamble from family, friends or colleagues.
- You feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down.
- Gambling is affecting your work, your sleep or your relationships.
- You play to escape worry or low mood rather than for enjoyment.
This is a prompt, not a diagnosis, and we are not qualified to give one. If it rings true, use the tools above and speak to one of the organisations below.
Where to get free, confidential help
Independent organisations across the United Kingdom support people affected by gambling, including family members and friends. You do not need to be in crisis to get in touch, and none of them charge.
- GambleAware: a charity that funds and signposts prevention and treatment, with plain-English information on gambling harm and a directory of local and online support.
- GamCare: provides free counselling, group support and practical advice, online and in person, for people who gamble and for those close to them.
- GamStop: a free national self-exclusion scheme that blocks you from licensed gambling sites in Great Britain, ours included, for a period you choose.
- The National Gambling Helpline: staffed around the clock by trained advisers who will talk things through in confidence and can refer you for treatment.
Your own doctor can also point you towards treatment services in your area. If you would like us to apply a limit, a time-out or self-exclusion while you make contact, our team can do that for you on live chat or by e-mail to support@casinocasperspins.co.uk.
Protecting children and other adults at home
Our site is for adults only. Registration requires you to confirm that you are 18 or over, and we verify the identity, age and address of every player through documents and electronic checks. An account we cannot verify is suspended until the checks are complete.
If you share a computer, tablet or phone with children, a few simple habits help: do not save your password in the browser, do not let the device store your card details, sign out fully when you finish, and keep cards and banking apps out of reach.
Parental control and filtering software can block gambling sites on a single device or across a home network. Products of this kind are widely available, some of them free, and most internet providers and operating systems include family filters that can be switched on in a few minutes.
Underage play
Gambling by anyone under 18 is against the law. If we find that an account belongs to a person under 18 we close it, void any winnings and return remaining deposits to their source.
If you believe a child has used your account or your payment details, tell us as soon as you can so that we can secure the account and look into what happened.
